A motorcycle crash in Gates killed a Rochester man Monday morning.
Police say Palmiro Deangelis, 46, of Rochester lost control of his motorcycle on Route 531 near Elmgrove Road just before 2:30 a.m.

Deangelis' bike was found in the brush along the road.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.

The cause of the crash is under investigation

A Hilton woman died in Thursdays motorcycle crash in Hamlin.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as 47 year old Nancy Fritsch. Investigators say a car driven by 21 year old Christopher Zinn rear ended a car waiting to turn onto Hamlin Center Road.
The impact forced the vehicle into Fritsch's oncoming motorcycle and another bike carrying Michael and Linda Schaffer of Brockport. Both were treated for minor injuries.
Fritsch was pronounced dead at Lakeside Hospital. Zinn faces charges of following too closely"

Police have identified the two people killed in a weekend motorcycle crash on Ward Road in the Town of Wheatfield. Barry Lewin, 55, of Bridgeman Road, Lewiston, and Robert Ladouceur, 40, of Wurlitzer Drive, North Tonawanda, both were pronounced dead at the scene. Christina Bisignani, 38, also of Wurlitzer Drive, a passenger on one of the bikes was rushed to the Erie County Medical Center were she was treated for a broken left leg, a shattered left knee and a skull compression.

Niagara County Sheriff Deputies say one motorcyclist was attempting to pass a car but smashed into another oncoming cyclist when he changed lanes. Both men were killed instantly. The female passenger was thrown into a field."
