Dear Father

Dear Dad,

Your death last Thursday shook me to the core. I know your love will live on with me, and you are with me now. Your life will be celebrated in a spectacular way, and I am looking forward to meeting all the people who you have come in contact with, who will tell me what a great man you were.

I love you Dad, and miss you so much already. As I grieve for my loss, I also celebrate your life and cherish the love you gave us so freely, even when times were at there worst.

So, I'm not saying goodbye, just a parting for a while as you are now with Mom, and I know you're now really happy, and without any pain.

Please watch over me, I'm scared and I need you.
