First Friday of Freedom - Good Friday indeed!

The close of the first week of my new position. I am happy. Period. It doesn't matter what I'm doing chore-wise, I just know that I am no longer under the roof of the darkness, and that my job now has meaning once more, as insignificant as it may be. I'm not the savior, and don't have to pretend to be. I'm not a slave, and will not go quietly into the night.

Thursday goes into the books

Well, guess I need to learn to slow down and not try to tackle everything at once .
I can't learn everything in one week, so I am told, and don't get
frustrated with my mistakes, or screwups.

I gunna work on Maggies Farm no mo'...

Lunchtime!!!

Day 2, lots to learn and lots to obsorb - like a sponge, I drink in the information, storing it for later retrieval. Processes, and proceedures, rules and organizational proceedures. This is this, and that is that. What that means, what this means. New acronyms, and new terms, means throw out the rule book on what I knew downstairs, and start fresh with new stuff.

It's quick-paced, and active, busy and often quite intimidating to the new person (me) but I'm still obsorbing as I go. It's going to take a bit before this starts making sense, but so far, so good.

Lots of office-space like stuff up here.. You get that TPS report?

It's day 2, alot to learn. Nice atmosphere, and great folks. I'm liking this place, alot. High-pace, but I can keep up...
