Riding seasons coming - get the dragon ready...

61 Degrees!! It's the warmest it's been in 2005, and I'm working... Not riding, but working.. Well, perhaps we'll have the red dragon ready for the next warm spell that is coming after this one.

The dragon's in the shed, with her seat and backrest going to the apolsterer for refinishing. While I'm waiting, I am going to get some more shiny parts for it - replacing rusty bolts and screws with shiny ones.... That's this weekend's deal, moving the dragon to the deck where I can begin to polish, polish, polish and then fire her up for the first time in 2005.. Riding season is coming soon!

Happy Easter! While out cleaning the deck, and charging the battery to the bike, the sounds of spring were rumbling through the air - bikes! Motorcycles on the road! Rumbling, bumbling and coming awake from their long sleep!

I went to the shed, and pulled the backrest and seat off - sending them to the appolsterer (sp?) for a re-do of the backrest. Tank's coming off next, prep it for a paint job. Then, to count up all the shiny bolts, that are to be shiny, when I replace them, and off to Don Georges to get new ones, so the bike will have new life this year!

Also need to contact Marylin for a paint job of the red Dragon on the tank.
