Founder's Day BreakDown

50 miles south of Warren PA, the skies opened up and poured down on the four of us as we blasted into Pennsylvania. The red dragon died in the rain, a friendly biker stopped on his way through the Alleganey forest. Luckily, he was a local, and called his wife to come with the pickup, and I was transported to a hotel. No trip to Akron for me.

Patti, drove through the night from Clarence with the trailer, in the dark, through the fog, into the forest, and rescued me. We spent the night at the motel I was holed up at, and rolled the bike on to the trailer and headed home.

Sad, but another reason to get my Harley with the commision check I'll be receiving at the end of the month.

Thank you Patti - you're the bravest woman I know.

Well, it's been a while since I've blogged, so I'm making an entry before I depart for a ride to Akron, OH. I'm travelling with Eric, Mike, and Peter. Not sure how this is going to turn out, but that's how it goes when you're living on the firing line of life, as they say.

Founder's day weekend, the room's been booked and paid for months, I have readied the read dragon, and I'm giddie with excitement about the long ride. Got my map, a route sheet, and the only thing left to do is pack, load-up and git.

I'm fairly, but overly concerned about the weather, but it looks like we'll miss any problem rain that may hit us as we shoot south into the Allegany forest, and get away from the lake.
Gotta remember to call home to let Patti know I'm safe.

The job's going good, ramping up for the close of my first whole quarter. Cant wait for the commision and bonus checks... Man.. it's going to be nice to have a little (perhaps alot) of money to put away for a nice thing or two.
