Home safe and sound from Binghamton
It's 10:52pm, I'm still cold from the bone-chilling 50 miles that remained as we rode home from our trip to Binghamton. For the most part, for me - a waste of time listening to the folks chatter and posture away the afternoon. Soon, however, the fun was over, and we were headed home again - under some stress from Patti, who's glasses broke (again) and there were a myriad of other issues she was having with all her problems and issues, and issues, and once again I was held hostage by her constant bitching about any of the issues that were baringly present and at the top of here 'this is a major issue' problem.

I was ready to just ride away and leave her standing in the parking lot; love and tolerance is our code - I'll shoot the bastard who thought that one up...

But - we made it home, in one piece and the bike performed very very well. I was impressed with it's handling, comfortable ride and loud pipes. A great bike for a single rider, but leave the bitch home; she'll only ruin the ride! While a bit stiff on the shocks in the back, all in all the bike took the bumps of the 390 well, and had enough throttle to pull away from the shit-for-brains in the cage behind me who wanted to get close enough to see the label on Patti's jeans..

Thanks Kenny, for the ride and thanks Patti for the test of P & T.

Bed time.. I'm whooped.

Saturday, I took Patti to Slo-Pokes, and we bought her a new pair of chaps, and a warm riding jacket, which she DESPERATELY needed. I think *I* needed it more, because I wanted to be 100% sure she would be warm enough on this riding season, and not just the sexy thang she is on the back of the bike. With that done, we're preparing to head out this fine morning for a ride to Binghamton to attend the State meeting of ABATE of NY.

Since I'm driving Kenny's bike, we're limited on space, so it will be interesting to see how that happens out when Patti wants to bring the kitchen sink along for the ride. Love and tolerance is our code...

The weather forecast calls for no rain, and highs in the 70's, so I think we'll be in good shape - then again, I have the uncanny knack of finding myself driving into the worst weather lately.. Well, say a prayer, don't drink and go to another meeting.
