The business - getting back into it
The time has come to make decisions. I have recently come to the realization that to enjoy life, I have to live it. Living means taking risks, at times. One risk, which I am not too worried about, is getting back to driving a business again. The last business I ran on my own wasn't as a sucess as I'd hoped, but I learned plenty about how to make it run when things got heavy. With an opportunity to run a business with another person, I am feeling confident that I can be a success once again in this work (what else, computers).

The main componnent of the business will be web based code, but I would like to expand into distribution, and web based store-fronts. It's a lucrative business that can really churn up the cash flow with the right amount of help. I don't want to find myself working on computers all night every night, nor do I want to have to deal with the people who need software help, but I guess that's just part of the business and I have to accept what is, and how the money comes.

Planning is key. Write this down, write down ideas. Write until the pen runs out of ink. Then read it and re-read what was written to hone the idea into a reality. And what about MP3 players for the auto/motorcycle? What about that digital home idea with the nas server delivering internet streaming audio to the home entertainment system?

Tomorrow I will meet with my future partner, and discuss our plans/ideas and get a look at our new office space. From there, we'll begin building the empire that will make us financially set. More on that when I return from our meeting.

With the summer months winding down it's time once again to begin working more on the business and getting the code machines running again to make us a ton of money, and prepare for the long, cold dreary winter that lies ahead.

I look forward to working hard, and getting well paid for my efforts.

Screw HSBC bank! They're the worst fucking bank to deal with. Don't ever over-draw your account with them, as they'll sock you with shit loads of fees and charges.

Fuck you HSBC.
